One of the best areas for Canadian moose in Saskatchewan you’ll be hunting around Meadow Lake Saskatchewan. This hunt takes place in amazing moose habitat. You’ll be hunting from boats or some times ATVs depending on the area. October is a great time to get on bulls and this Outfitter has a proven record of doing so. There is little to no pressure in these areas so the moose are hunted the way they should be.
Under normal weather conditions, hunters usually experience high shot opportunities on mature bulls. Historically, this hunt produces high shot opportunities with a representative bull measuring around 30″ – 40″.
The moose hunting areas are only accessible by ATV, boat, and hiking. With little resident hunting pressure, excellent moose habitat, and careful management of the moose population.
Hunts are 1×1 and can be done 2×1 upon request.

Day 1 Fly in to Saskatoon and rent a vehicle to drive to camp location provided by the Outfitter.

Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
